Profile

Katrina has held a range of roles over two decades in the wellbeing, transformational tourism, business leadership & academic arenas. She is an Ambassador for Regional Tourism Australia.

She is an engaging Speaker and Moderator – her natural, entertaining, yet professional style delivering maximum impact on virtual and hybrid platforms, as well as F2F. Her academic career has seen her develop, co-ordinate and deliver as senior lecturer, a new postgraduate degree at a London university; and the curation of undergraduate / postgraduate subject development and lecturing of new degrees in Australia. 

Katrina’s wellbeing tourism industry field experience continues as Director of Villa Tropez, in Saint Tropez, France: a luxury holiday, events, sustainable retreat venue & film location. And an in-house consultancy Byron Bay to Saint Tropez: destination management, retreat planning & event facilitation to the experiential travel, wellbeing & corporate event sectors.

With M.HSc practitioner qualifications, & Gastronomy Tourism learnings, Katrina continues to develop her professional growth and industry knowledge. She has led as National Training Manager in healthcare companies and as Dept Manager of London’s finest health club. She is a longstanding Clinical Nutrition and Naturopathic Association member in both Australia and the UK; researching and presenting innovation & knowledge trends at global events, with her passion for Tourism & Event Wellbeing. 

Her business has partnered with Condé Nast Traveller, Foundation for National Parks, FrenchEntrée, & Luxperience to name a few; and has been awarded the 2018 and 2019 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. 

She co-founded Resource Environmental Solutions, a recycling initiative for the hospitality & commercial sector throughout Australia, Asia and USA – including the Presidential White House, Washington. 

Katrina’s own postgraduate studies were in anti-oxidant wellbeing and organic viticulture regions; her global assays providing valuable research to the international health, gastronomy, Agritourism, & sustainable tourism sectors. 

Her favourite downtime hobbies are hiking and foraging on nature-led itineraries, & transformational travel: such as the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.
