Women in Tourism to celebrate International Women’s Day 2018

Tickets for the next event on the Women in Tourism Leadership Lunch calendar are now available. Join us on Thursday, 8 March as we celebrate International Women’s Day 2018.

There’s no denying that 2017 was a ground-breaking year for women in Hollywood with movements like #MeToo sending a resounding and collective roar around the world. Already this year #TimesUp is making headlines globally, but today is not about fighting, competing or even crusading.

If success and being extraordinary at work something you’re interested in this lunch is the place to be as you’ll hear first-hand from Tammy Marshall, founder of The B Hive, a forward-thinking consultancy that focuses on transforming businesses and people, just how to go about this.

Building on the current phenomenal wave of empowerment, Tammy will share with us what it takes to future-proof yourself and your organisation for success. You’ll discover what skills are important for the changing workplace; why being more ‘human-focused’ is key and what it will take to be transformative in the future, all brought to life with powerful and inspiring examples that show what is possible when women work together.

The two-course lunch event takes place at Beta Bar and Gallery in Sydney’s CBD. Beta Bar is a beautiful Brooklyn loft-style venue with Victorian-era architecture, set above Alpha Restaurant. Beta Bar specialises in Greek-inspired food.

So excited about our fourth International Women’s Day lunch and hope you can all join us on this important day.
